WHY ME, when there are hundreds of REALTORS in your area? That’s a good question and I will answer that question with this brief bio of my career and life experiences. I have worked most of my career as a Retail Technologist, gradually moving up the ladder; from Systems Analyst to Project Manager; and then all the way up to Vice President of IT for several national retail chains. In addition to my career in retail I also used my six years of Air National Guard military experience to obtain Project Manager Assignments for the Department of Defense where I developed systems for civilian test engineers and various military personnel such as enlisted career personnel, Generals and members of the flight crew.
But my Bio does not end there, I want to highlight the fact that I personally bought and sold fourteen homes due to my various career location changes. In addition to buying and selling personal real estate I also rented or leased apartments when I worked as a contractor traveling to different states away from my Florida home. From these various moves I have experienced the same trials and tribulations that you are envisioning. I hope you trust that I have learned from these experiences and therefore can assist you in avoiding many of these pitfalls. These life experiences, along with my extensive continuing Real Estate Training makes me a viable resource for all your needs in Real Estate. From finding temporary rentals or leases, to permanent single family homes for growing families and then downsizing due to empty nesters or retirees like myself.
I chose Real Estate as my secondary career due to the similarities between my previous training and end user/client demands. What were these previous job tasks that I feel are relevant in today’s Real Estate environment? I had to analyze the situation, propose a solution, create the necessary plans to make it happen, and then implement the system updates. During this process, I was constantly negotiating; with either the users on requirements, developers, or outside third party solution providers. But it does not stop there, I had to follow up to make sure that they were happy with the changes or updates, make revisions when necessary; and then plan for the next move that might be months or years into the future.
Now, does that not sound like the job description of a REALTOR, determine what you’re looking for and why, find the right location and dwelling with all the features you desire and plan for the closing and your move so that everything sails along smoothly and without a glitch during the process of becoming a homeowner or tenant?
